Galileo Vacuum Systems S.p.a. (GVS), which is part of ‘Galileo Nanotech’ holding, presented its stand and held a seminar on metallization as part of PLASTINDIA 2012. PLASTINDIA 2012 is Asia’s largest exhibition of the world plastic industry, showcasing everything from current market technologies to the newest scientific designs in the sphere of polymers and plastic processing. It took place in New Delhi, India, on February 1-6, 2012.

Representatives of ‘Galileo Nanotech’ spoke about the company’s strategic development direction, the range of its products, the newest technologies and equipment that are used to manufacture metallized materials.

The company held a seminar dedicated to film and paper metallization and methods of applying the coatings, including the magnetron technology for multi-layer coating.

The Batch Coater equipment used for vacuum metallizing of parts with a complex geometric surface (e.g. head light reflectors) and the newest economic equipment for metallizing roll-to-roll compact materials, which were demonstrated for the first time, sparked much interest among the public.
