Journalists from the Tara I Upakovka magazine took part in a press tour of the Galileo Coating Technologies factory on July 10, 2012.

During the visit, the guests had an opportunity to tour the factory, see the product samples, and ask questions to the factory’s experts.

The Galileo Coating Technologies (GCT) factory, which is part of the ‘Galileo Nanotech’ holding, was inaugurated in December of 2011. The factory makes vacuum metallized materials for labeling and packaging.

The factory is already producing or planning to launch the following items: labeling paper for returnable and non-returnable bottles; increased substance and gloss paper for packing coffee and premium alcoholic beverages; metallized papers with heat sealed coating for tea and spice sachets; twist effect paper which keeps its form for the confectionary industry; designer and packaging papers.

In the beginning of the year, the factory introduced a new promising product to the Russian market – vacuum metallized boards which can be used for packing perfumes, cosmetics, tobacco, chocolate, tea, wine and spirits, brochures, paper covers, advertising materials, CD jackets, etc.
